朝イチなら空いているだろうという甘い考えは、境内に足を踏み入れた瞬間に打ち砕かれました。
まだ午前9時前だというのに、写真の通り境内はすでに人、人、人の大盛況（笑）。
みなさん、一体何時に起きて来ているんですか？
ただ、怪我の功名で運良く曇り空に恵まれてかなり涼しかったのが救いでした。あの混雑で真夏の太陽まで直撃していたら、品物を見る前にこちらが蒸し焼きになるところです（笑）。熱中症再び、、、（笑）
出店数もかなりの規模で見応え十分。掘り出し物を探して目を光らせていたところ、思わず足が止まる素晴らしいお皿に出会えて無事に連れて帰ってきました。
早起きと人波に揉まれた甲斐がありました。ビバ骨董祭！
朝My naive assumption that it would be empty since it was the first day was shattered the moment I set foot on the temple grounds.
Even though it wasn’t even 9:00 a.m. yet, as you can see in the photo, the grounds were already packed with people—it was absolutely packed (lol).
What time on earth did everyone wake up to get here?
However, every cloud has a silver lining: luckily, the sky was overcast, so it was quite cool, which was a relief. If the midsummer sun had been beating down on top of that crowd, I would’ve been roasted alive before I even got a chance to look at the goods (lol). Heatstroke all over again… (lol)
There were a ton of stalls, so it was definitely worth the visit. While I was keeping my eyes peeled for hidden gems, I stumbled upon a gorgeous plate that made me stop in my tracks—and I successfully brought it home.
Getting up early and battling the crowds was totally worth it. Viva the Antique Festival!
